weelo is a platform which enables the users to build their own road cycling base everywhere in the world. It provides all important components for planning a road cycling activity for a certain region - e.g. the one where one currently lives in. This covers routes  which are generated according to the user’s individual needs, helping to find people with similar goals and teaming up with local bicycle repair shops for repairs and workshops.

In the beginning the central goal was to find out the needs of the people. Therefore, in a detailed research phase interviews and surveys were conducted, personas were constructed and many observations were analyzed. Additionally, User Journey Mapping and Blueprinting helped to identify the requirements of the service. The following concept was tested within a prototyping phase.
